Mag is from Singapore and currently based in Glasgow. Her art and curatorial practice so far has revolved around the notion of agency. Thematically her projects focus on the ambivalence between individuals and the structures they find themselves within. These projects are also guided by an ethos of agency being a process of making oneself intelligible and discovering values and emotions that have been obscured. On-going and recent projects include Let Be Be Finale of Seem (2012), Uncommon Sense (2011), and project 41/GLUED (2011). She is involved in running studio 41, a space for contemporary curating and art in Glasgow, and is a writer for Daily Serving.
