The Curatorial Conundrum: Book Launch

30.09.2016, 17:30 - 19:00 - The Glasgow School of Art

Please join us for a Glasgow launch of ‘The Curatorial Conundrum: What to Research? What to Study? What to Practice?’ edited by Paul O’Neill, Lucy Steeds and Mick Wilson.

The Curatorial Conundrum looks at the burgeoning field of curating and the curatorial. Within this collection of essays, practitioners and theorists consider a variety of futures: the future of curatorial education; the future of curatorial research; the future of curatorial and artistic practice; and the institutions that will make these other futures possible.

At 6pm Mick Wilson will introduce the book and open up to questions hosted by Kirsteen Macdonald (Glasgow School of Art) and Lesley Young (University of Glasgow).

This event is organised by Valand Academy in association with the School of Fine Art at The Glasgow Glasgow School of Art, Framework and Scottish Contemporary Art Network.

The Curatorial Conundrum is published by The MIT Press in collaboration with the Center for Curatorial Studies/LUMA Foundation.
